Yonex Nanoflare Nextage

The Nanoflare Nextage is one of the newer frames in Yonex's speed line, pitched at the intermediate to advanced end rather than the entry tier. It's a head-light racket built for fast hands, not for loading up a smash.

Balance is head light with a medium flex shaft - noticeably firmer than the entry-level 700 and 800 Play models, so it rewards a swing that's already fast and repeatable rather than doing the loading for you. HT Graphite and Nanocell Neo run through both frame and shaft, and the shaft itself is slimmer than earlier Nanoflares, which cuts drag and helps the head snap back into position between shots.

Best for intermediate to advanced players who already have their technique and want a racket that keeps up in fast doubles - drives, blocks, net interceptions. If your swing is still developing, the medium flex won't help you the way a softer shaft would; the Nanoflare 700 Play is the more forgiving starting point in the same speed line. If you want weight in the head for smash power instead of speed, an Astrox is the better fit.
