Yonex Muscle Power 33 Lite

The Muscle Power 33 Lite is the more capable of the two mid-range Muscle Power rackets in our range, still built as a recreational, do-everything frame rather than one tuned for attack or defence.

Even balance and a medium-flex graphite shaft mean the racket doesn't ask much of your technique - it loads on the swing and releases at contact instead of relying on timing you haven't built yet. Yonex rates the frame to 30 lbs, which gives it more headroom than most rackets at this price and means a tighter, more controlled string bed is genuinely an option later on.

Good for improving club players who've outgrown a supermarket racket but aren't ready to commit to a specific attacking or control frame yet. If you already know you want to smash, an Astrox 01 Clear will do more for you; if you want a lighter, faster feel, look at a Nanoflare 700 Play.
