Yonex Astrox Attack 9

The Astrox Attack 9 is Yonex's budget entry into the Astrox attacking line - a step up from the Astrox 01 and 02 beginner rackets, built around the same isometric head and built-in T-joint construction used across the range, at a price built for someone just starting out.

Head-heavy balance puts weight out toward the string bed, so the racket helps generate power on a swing even before your technique is fully there - useful while you're still learning to time a smash. The Hi-Flex shaft bends easily under load, which does some of the work of building racket-head speed for you, at the cost of the crisp, precise feel a stiffer frame gives a more advanced player.

Best for beginners picking up their first proper racket, or improving juniors who want an attacking design without junior-racket compromises. If you're already an intermediate player working on technique, you'll get more out of the Astrox 77 Play or Astrox 99 Play, which give a similar head-heavy feel with a more advanced frame underneath.
