Yonex Muscle Power 22 LT

The Muscle Power 22 LT sits at the entry point of Yonex's Muscle Power line, the most basic recreational range Yonex makes, well below the Arcsaber, Astrox and Nanoflare families in this store.

Even balance at 285mm means the racket doesn't push you toward attack or defence - it just responds. The medium-flex full graphite shaft loads and releases without needing a fast swing, so clears and drops both come without much technique. Yonex rates it to 30 lbs, which is a genuinely useful ceiling for a racket at this level - you won't outgrow the string bed quickly.

Good for a genuine first racket: school sport, social hits, or anyone who hasn't settled into a style yet. It's not built for club-level attacking play - once you know whether you want to smash or defend, you'll get more out of an Arcsaber 2 Clear or an Astrox 01 Clear, both of which carry more current Yonex technology at a similar price.
