Yonex Astrox Lite 45 I

The Astrox Lite 45 I is the top-numbered racket in Yonex's four-model Astrox Lite range, the budget "I" series that puts the Astrox name within reach of beginners. It's still a recreational frame at a recreational price, not a step toward tour-level gear.

Like the rest of the Lite range it's head-heavy with a hi-flex shaft, so power comes from the frame's flex and weight distribution rather than from a fast, technical swing - helpful while you're still building a repeatable stroke. At 78g it's comfortable to carry through long doubles sessions, and the 30 lb tension ceiling is more than most beginners will ever need to string to.

Good for beginners and improving social players who want a real graphite Astrox and don't yet need a stiffer, higher-tension frame. It's not for advanced players chasing a heavy smash - once your technique and string tension outgrow this racket, the mainline Astrox 77 Play is the natural upgrade in our range.
