The Astrox Lite 43 I is one of the higher-numbered frames in Yonex's four-racket Astrox Lite range, the budget "I" series aimed at beginners who want the Astrox name without the mainline price tag. It's a recreational racket, built and priced for players early in their badminton life, not a tour frame.

The head-heavy balance and hi-flex shaft combine to give easy power on smashes and clears without needing a fast swing - the racket's flex does the work of storing and releasing energy that a beginner's technique usually can't generate on its own. At 78g it's light in the hand for long sessions, and the 30 lb tension ceiling comfortably covers what a developing player needs.
