Yonex Astrox 88 Play (3rd Gen)

The cheapest way into the Astrox 88 line. Yonex doesn't split the Play model into S and D versions - there's one frame, tuned somewhere between the two.

Head-heavy balance with a medium flex graphite shaft, so it rewards an attacking swing without demanding a fully developed one. At 4U it stays quick enough for doubles, which is what most people buy an 88 for.

Good first step up from a beginner racquet if you play doubles and want more bite on your smash.

Strung by hand in our Australian workshop at 24–26 lbs, free with every racquet. 100% authentic Yonex stock.
