Yonex Astrox 7 DG

The most head-heavy racket in the Durable Grade line - 316mm, noticeably further forward than the 3DG - paired with a medium flex shaft. That combination is unusual and it works: real weight arriving at the shuttle, but a shaft that still loads for you.

Like the rest of the DG series it's built from super high elasticity HM graphite and takes string tension up to 35 lbs, so you can string it tight without worrying about the frame. Nanomesh Neo in the shaft speeds up take-back between shots.

Best for attacking club players who want serious smash weight and a frame that lasts. The trade-off is speed - with that much weight in the head, fast front-court doubles will feel like hard work.
