The Astrox Lite 37 I sits in the middle of Yonex's four-racket Astrox Lite range, the budget "I" series that brings the Astrox name to entry-level players. It's a recreational frame built to a price, not a tour racket, and it shares its core build with the rest of the Lite range.

Head-heavy balance and a hi-flex shaft mean the frame does the work of generating pace on smashes and clears, so you don't need a fast or technical swing to get the shuttle moving. Nanomesh Neo in the shaft keeps that flex responsive rather than floppy. At 78g it swings easily for a full session, and the 30 lb tension ceiling is plenty for the racket speed most beginners generate.

Suited to beginners and improving social players who want a genuine graphite Astrox rather than an aluminium hybrid. It won't satisfy a player who has outgrown a flexible shaft and wants more direct feedback - for that, look at the mainline Astrox 77 Play, which strings higher and hits harder.
