Li-Ning Xiphos X1

The Li-Ning Xiphos X1 is an even-balance racket from Li-Ning's Multi Control series, built for players who want one racket that covers attack and defence without a heavy head.

It weighs 87g (4U) with a 295mm balance point and a flexible carbon fibre shaft, so power and manoeuvrability sit close to level. The box-type frame with Wing Stabiliser technology keeps the head stable through off-centre hits, and it is strung to a maximum of 30 lbs with a G5 grip.

This suits intermediate to advanced players who move between the front and back of the court and don't want the racket to force one style of play. It is not the racket to reach for if you want a pure head-heavy smasher.
