Li-Ning Windstorm78/+

This listing covers two closely related Li-Ning frames: the Windstorm 78 and the updated Windstorm 78+. Both share the same 78g weight, the same head-heavy balance, and the same flexible UHB shaft - we checked both against multiple independent retailer listings and could not find a verified difference in weight, balance, tension rating, or grip between them. The plus version appears to mark a later technology and colourway refresh rather than a change to the tune of the racket, so the specs below apply to whichever version you receive.

At 78g unstrung with a head-heavy balance around 300mm, it sits at the heavier, more attacking end of the Windstorm range, just under the Windstorm79. The flexible shaft still loads and releases fast through the shot, and it's rated up to 30 lbs, giving solid headroom for players who like to string firm for a crisper response.

It suits intermediate to advanced players who want more pace than the lighter Windstorm72 or Windstorm75 without stepping up to a full attacking-weight frame. If you're after the lightest, most flexible swing in the range, the Windstorm72 will suit you better than either version of the 78.
