Li-Ning Halbertec 2000

The Halbertec 2000 sits one step up from the entry-level Halbertec 1000, still built for beginner to intermediate players but with a noticeably more responsive shaft.

It keeps the even balance of the 1000 but moves to a 6.8mm STD-modulus slim shaft with a flexible, high-modulus graphite build, so the head turns over faster through the hitting zone without asking for a big, technical swing. Strung up to 26 lbs, the frame stays forgiving and the sweet spot stays generous, which matters more than raw tension at this level - you get consistency on mis-hits rather than pinpoint control.

This suits a player who has the basics down and wants a livelier feel than the 1000 without jumping into a stiffer, higher-tension frame. It is not the racket for someone already producing their own power and wanting the frame to disappear under a fast swing - that's the Halbertec 4000 and up. If the flexible shaft here feels too lively as your swing develops, the Halbertec 3000 next door offers the same beginner-to-intermediate positioning with a firmer, more neutral medium flex.
